Lucky Duck Trail Adventures
Well shucks, you love dogs?
I love dogs!
You find that they are happier and live longer when they get the chance to play at dog speed, interact with other (suitable) fur friends, and get their sniffing, running, playing needs met? ME TOO!!!! I couldn’t find a person or company that would do exactly what I believe is best for my doggo, or at least not an affordable one.
⁃ I found leashed city walks. SNOOZE😴, plus it’s a lot of impact on their joints, and they might return tired, but that’s just stress from having their little leashes tugged repeatedly to go human speed. I didn’t choose an athletic breed only to make them spend their whole life crawling!
⁃ I found dog park goers, but that meant random people and dogs were interacting with my guy, and you know who I don’t trust? People and their dogs! 😂
⁃ I found warehouse daycares with stressed dogs managed by sullen teenagers. “My dog comes home so tired”, yeah, cause he’s stressed AF all day! So, what’s a dog mom to do? Go back to my hearts calling full time - animals! I have 19 years experience as a pro animal trainer, 30+ as an animal owner! All pack leaders are pet CPR and First Aid Certified. We are licensed and insured.! We follow AVSAB standings that, when possible, dog training should be force free and communication should be positive reinforcement.
Area services are Issaquah, Sammamish, and Bellevue.
Pickups are Mondays through Saturdays. Starting at 7:30am - 11:00
We gather up a group of dogs, take them to our quiet trail and hike with them for 90 minutes. We work on recall (they don’t have to have perfect recall to get started) and some basic cues; sit, stay, leave-it, heel, up, for trail etiquette and brain work.
They play, chase, sniff, and roll. They start on long lines and when/IF have reliable recall, go off leash. We then return a happy, sleepy, sniffed out doggo to your home.
No dogs with bite records, ya gotta use your words, man.
That’s just not cool. 🤷♀️ Intact males on a case/case basis.
We do meet/greets first so all are comfortable then secure a regular weekly time slot. We avoid “drop-ins”.
Adventures are $45 each. For consistency, trail training, and pack cohesion we start at a minimum of 2 adventures per week. Dog families of 2 or more, additional dogs are $30 per adventure.
I carry high value, quality treats (freeze dried beef liver and hearts, so stinky, but irresistible to dogs!) leashes, first aid kit, Benadryl, and water for the dogs.
